PDF Prime 2.1

Prime PDF is a PDF utility with a variety of purposes. The application allows you to split, merge, and unlock/lock PDF files.

Thus, with it you can merge a number of PDF docs into a single file, or, conversely, split a PDF into multiple documents. Likewise, the application lets you protect your own PDFs to prevent content viewing or modification.

The program has a very simple interface with a toolbar that comprises all the program features. PDF files can be added to the conversion window by browsing though your PC or even by drag and drop. Conversion, in turn, requires only one click.

By default, the application divides the entire PDF file you choose into the number of pages it contains. But if you right-click the name of the document, the program brings up a window where you can choose a page range to split or even the exact pages you want to extract from a document. The same applies to the program's merging feature.

As far as PDF protection goes, the application lets you lock documents with a password to prevent others from viewing or modifying your files. You can then use the application to unlock documents that you protected.

Once your documents are processed, the program activates an option for you to view and open the just converted documents right from the main window.

Overall, the application does a very good job, it combines multiple functions in a single app and is very easy to use.
